Monthly vs Annual billing - which is better for me?

Beacon gives you the option to pay for your account either monthly or annually. Both frequencies are good choices for different organisations who need different things.

Monthly billing

Paying for Beacon monthly is the most flexible. There are no long contracts or notice periods, you can make changes to your account whenever you want and aren't paying for any longer ahead than a single month. All monthly billing is by a debit/credit card subscription and charged automatically each month.

Monthly billing is best for those who prefer to have flexibility for organisational changes, or don't have the cash flow to pay for a whole year.

Annual billing

When you choose annual billing, you pay up front for the year ahead. As a reward for your annual commitment we give annual accounts a 10% discount on your Beacon subscription, saving you precious money on your technology expenses. Any downgrades will create a credit on your account and will offset any future invoices (see our fair billing policy for full details). We don't give refunds.

Those choosing annual billing also have a choice in payment method. You can choose between:

  • Automatic payments from a debit/credit card

  • Annual invoices which can be paid manually by bank transfer

Annual billing is best for those who are confident in their organisation's needs, don't need flexibility month-to-month, and are happy to pay up front to get a discount.
